RoadEx is a Financial Services company specializing in the transportation/freight industry and located in Southfield, MI. We are overgrowing and are looking for the right people to help us continue this growth. This is an opportunity to join a passionate, hard-working group in a comfortable environment. This Position is ONSITE from Monday to Friday within working hours 8:30 AM to 5 PM.

Job Responsibilities

  • Administering payroll and ensuring timely salary disbursement.
  • Administering accounts payable for the company
  • Review cash flow across each company to ensure daily ACH/wire batches can be sent and received
  • Managing employee benefits programs
  • Maintaining employee records and confidentiality.
  • Process the required documents for new employees, resignations, and terminations.
  • Apply payments in QuickBooks online and reconcile when needed.
  • Help team with collections on past due accounts and receive payments from clients via merchant account
  • Help the team resolve customer issues and complaints concerning billing.
  • Internal audits of company bank accounts and financials
  • Review company credit card statements and obtain missing receipts from internal employees
  • Daily bank import check
  • Add and approve payments (Wire/ACH) and collections in the bank.
  • Bank Reconciliation (Merchant account) when needed.
  • Other duties as needed

Qualifications.

  • Proficiency in administering payroll and benefits programs.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive employee information.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Associate’s Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field preferred (Bachelor’s Degree is a plus)
  • 2 years of experience in accounting
  • Experience with QuickBooks Online or similar accounting software.
  • Experience with Excel
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems is a plus.
